Mathematical Modeling on Fridays!!!!
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder!!! Get Into Modeling.....
NHAS Students engage in Mathematical Modeling Exercises on Fridays!!! To date, students have performed experiments that addressed exponential growth and exponential decay. More activities will be forthcoming! Photos are available in Ms. Bibbs' Photo Gallery! Math becomes more meaningful when students are able to bring mathematics off of the paper and into their hands or real life experiences! After collecting data, students are able to develop equations from the data using graphing calculators and students also go to the computer lab and use software to plot data points and discuss mathematical relationships.
