Congratulations to Nicholas Bell and VonTerrence Watson for earning the Scholar Mathlete award for August 13-24, 2007.

The "Scholar Mathlete" award is awarded to students who demonstrate desirable classroom behaviors and character traits, noteworthy of being scholarly, show tremendous efforts to learn and understand mathematics, and provides insight to his or her peers on mathematical concepts.  

Bell and Watson remained on task while completing assignments and volunteered to further their understanding of mathematical concepts on a regular basis.

Nicholas and VonTerrence will receive framed certificates signed by Ms. Monique Bibbs, Secondary Mathematics and Science Teacher, and principal, Ms. Olivia Johnson.

We are very proud of this significant achievement.
